Working as our Quality Control Analyst, you'll play a vital role in making this magic happen.
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, supporting Microbiology, Sensory, and Inwards Raw Materials functions under the guidance of the site Hygiene Leader.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct daily routine Microbiological sampling and testing
- Support general Microbiological standard tasks
- Perform routine daily sensory quality testing
- Provide support for sensory panel sessions
- Support for Beverage Raw Material tasks
- Contribute towards sustaining site hygiene
This role will also require the operation of a fork hoist, with appropriate training provided. There may also be some manual handling required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ability to learn new skills and be solutions focussed
- Ability to perform daily routine tasks accurately and efficientlySelf-motivation and a focus on stakeholder satisfaction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to engage a wide range of individuals and work within a team environment
Highly regarded
- Experience in the beverage/food industry
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Previous experience in a food microbiological laboratory (ideally within the drinks industry)
- Understanding of aseptic sampling, and testing techniques (filtrations /pour plating)
- Hold a degree in microbiological or science or related field
