We're searching for a Quality Control Analyst - Customer Due Diligence (CDD) who'll be responsible for implementing and executing a Quality Check (QC) framework, developing and facilitating Training Material, as well as providing help, guidance and advice to Customer Due Diligence analysts when required.
A key focus for the role will be understanding the Know Your Customer Policy along with AML/FEC guidelines to ensure we comply with local and head office policies and regulations. This role may also involve supporting remediation and improvement initiatives across KYC Australia and within the greater ING group.

What you'll do
- Conduct Quality Control on CDD and ECDD reviews in line with ING Global Group Standards, based on applicable procedures from WPI, Process guide and ensuring all potential risks were addressed properly.
- Identify areas of operational and procedural deficiencies within the team, produce and facilitate training content for the CDD team.
- Provide help, guidance and advice to team members (both new and existing) through group and individual coaching and training.
- Conduct Quality Control on CDD and ECDD reviews in line with ING Global Group Standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team on the outcome of the Quality Control.
- Collate Quality Control data and report findings to Squad Lead and Operations Manager.
- Assist in the monthly Quality Assurance process by reviewing feedback and remediating any failed files to ensure they are up to ING Global Group's quality standards.
- Maintain & develop detailed technical knowledge across a range of products & processes.
What we're looking for
- Ability to identify root causes for recurring issues identified during the QC process.
- Prior experience performing Customer Due Diligence and/or Transaction Monitoring activities.
- Sound knowledge of the financial services industry.
- An understanding of risk mitigation with extensive product knowledge.
- The ability to challenge status quo & ask 'why?'
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work well to timelines.
- Experience dealing with small and medium enterprises is highly desirable, but not essential.
