We have a vacancy for a QC Analyst to join our QC Laboratory team based at our Macquarie Park facility. 

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all testing is performed in accordance with approved procedures and within designated timeframes.

Your key areas of accountability will include:

  • Analytical Testing
    • Ensuring that all testing is completed, and results issued to meet schedules.
    • Testing is performed on raw materials, finished products and stability samples in accordance with approved procedures and in compliance with TGA, FDA and company standards.
  • Laboratory Systems
    • Ensuring laboratory areas, equipment, documents and records are maintained in a compliant and orderly state at all times.
    • Maintain all equipment in a well maintained and calibrated state.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in use of HPLC, GC and empower 3 software
  • A working knowledge of applicable testing systems as they apply to pharmaceutical products
  • Strong working knowledge of laboratory compliance and regulations (eg GLP and GMP) 
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply pharmacopoeia and other reference test methods
  • Ability to trouble shoot equipment and test method issues
  • Strong adherence to good documentation practices (GDP) as used in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A system improvement mindset and strong teamwork.
  • Sound planning and organization skills with strong attention to detail.

 You must have a strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively in a busy team is essential as is your ability to communicate effectively.
