The Position
As QC Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Technical / Quality Assurance Team by performing QC functions.
Some on the job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Timely and accurate Sampling, Testing and Analysis of Raw Materials.
- Correct completion and record keeping of all testing results.
- Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and record keeping.
- Ensuring high level of laboratory and equipment cleanliness.
- Sampling, Testing and Analysis of Bulks and Finished Goods.
- Preparing samples for sending to external laboratories.
- Conduct trouble shooting & non-conformance investigations.
- Conduct temperature monitoring activities and temperature monitoring validations.
- Ensure quality systems are compliant with GMP requirements
- Maintain, update and control Quality Assurance Documentation
- Perform general housekeeping duties, ensuring a safe and hazard free work environment.
- Perform other QC/QA and Lab related tasks and activities.
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- A strong work ethic
- Experience in a chemical testing laboratory
- Exposure to Cosmetics / TGA listed products / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.
- Ability to work without supervision and continually show initiative
- Enthusiasm, with a positive attitude
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
