Form of workEnGeneIC is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Sydney which has developed a unique targeted nanocell technology which not only specifically kills multi-drug resistant cancer cells but also elicits a potent immunotherapeutic response for the treatment of cancer.
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technical Officer with a proven track record who is looking for an opportunity to participate in the development of an exciting therapeutic platform and to become a loyal and committed member of the EnGeneIC team. The successful applicant will have a hands-on role performing in-process and finished product analytical testing, ultimately ensuring all products are of high standard and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide accurate and precise testing of nanocells throughout the manufacturing cycle via a range of analytical techniques, including Nanosight, Flow cytometry, Spectrophotometry, ELISA, LAL and sterility testing.
· Follow SOPs and keep accurate laboratory records.
· Maintain laboratory work areas.
· Perform and document routine calibration of laboratory instruments.
Requirements for this position include:
· A Laboratory Technical Officer Diploma or a Bachelor of Science degree in the Life Sciences or equivalent with at least 2 years experience working in a laboratory.
· Experience in testing the purity, physiochemical characteristics, potency and stability of cancer therapeutics and biologicals.
· Excellent documentation and reporting skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
· Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Preferred Qualities:
· Technically minded with demonstrated troubleshooting, data analysis and investigational skills.
· Positive can-do attitude and sound organisational skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex issues.
· Quality or Pharmaceutical certifications.
· Experience working in a QMS managed laboratory.
