Garment Quality Control & Workroom Assistant

This position is a casual role to start with scope for permanent work for the right applicant, it involves contributing to the creation of exquisite bridal gowns and being a vital part of our fashion-forward company.

We boast flagship boutiques across Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, and additionally, our brand is available through stockists in Europe, USA, UK, Ireland and New Zealand. 

As the Garment Quality Control & Workroom Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Unpacking and documenting bulk deliveries
• Managing the Quality Control process and addressing related issues
• Conducting Quality Control checks on garments with varying lead times
• Fulfilling stock allocation for orders and ensuring timely delivery
• General workroom duties assisting the Production Manager

Desired traits and skills for applicants include:

• Essential: Proficiency in hand sewing and beading
• Understanding of garment construction and pattern-making techniques
• Previous experience in a Quality Control role, particularly within the bridal or high-end fashion industry is ideal - but not necessary
• Strong organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Capacity to work both collaboratively and independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Genuine interest in fashion
