About the role
Join the Operations team at the Rocklea site in Queensland as the Quality Control Chemist and help the team to continue to deliver world-class product that exceeds customer expectations.
In this factory support role, based in our Quality Control lab, you’ll be our go-to person for day to day Quality Control queries or issues on site. You’ll be assisting and coaching our Quality Control operators on how to resolve non-conformances batches of paint. You will also work closely with our P&C and Innovation team to uphold what is already a high standard of quality practices in place. This site offers a great and diverse product pallet, which is a fantastic way for you to get exposure to new career experiences!
You will also be proactively supporting all quality-based continuous improvement projects on site as well as maintaining the compliance and accreditation requirements (ISO and APAS) through internal auditing and equipment calibrations.

Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification with major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent material sciences related study.
- Experience in Paint Technology or Surface Coatings is preferable
- Formulations experience is preferable
- Competent in computer applications; in Excel, SAP and SPC
