Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager your role with be interesting and will evolve as the onsite QC Laboratory continues to expand:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining equipment calibration schedule, daily monitoring as well as maintaining stability sampling and testing systems
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment.
- Utilise HPLC/UPLC, FTIR and other equipment
- Testing of both final product and raw materials
- Maintaining safe chemical storage, handling, and disposal, whilst following relevant work instructions.
- Handling the receiving, labelling, storage, stocktaking and ordering of various reagents and standards, and communicating with various suppliers.
- Administrative, data entry and archiving tasks
- Liaise with suppliers
- Troubleshoot and perform regular maintenance of instruments.
To be successful in acquiring this role you need the following skills and attributes:
- Possess general working knowledge of an analytical laboratory.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Professional chemistry or microbiology competency highly regarded.
- Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Understanding of QC testing requirements.
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships/partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skill is crucial
