SalaryAre you passionate about quality and food safety? We're partnering with an iconic national confectionery manufacturer in Sydney's south-western suburbs who are looking for experienced Quality Coordinators to ensure all food safety and quality tasks meet the highest standards.
These full time positions will be offered as either - Monday to Friday working hours between 7am and 5pm or Afternoon shifts from 4pm to 12pm (in a set roster across 7 days/week).Role Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct HACCP reviews and validations;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance production, food safety, and WHS processes;
- Drive GMP compliance and improvements;
- Train staff in food safety and quality procedures;
- Manage non-conforming products and raw materials, including root cause analysis;
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues;
- Investigate consumer complaints;
- Lead mock recalls and traceability exercises;
- Update SOPs and product specifications;
- Assist the production team with technical support and compliance;
- Oversee calibration and support programs for the Quality Management System.
- Degree qualified - Food Technology or related field;
- 5+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing (FMCG experience preferred);
- Knowledge of HACCP Principles & Applications;
- Familiarity with BRC or similar quality management systems;
- Experience with internal and external audits;
- Excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude;
- Keen attention to detail.
