Our target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.The UGL New Energy Team is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work on our existing Battery Storage System (BESS) Project located in Collie Western Australia (WA).This is a site-based position on a FIFO/DIDO rosterAbout the role
- Ensure final product complies with all standards and specifications developed, including the final approval of the consis
- Work with Operation to ensure all Quality (workmanship and standards compliance) requirements associated with the scope of work are fully understood and carried out
- Communication of changed process documentation to stakeholders and to ensure planned introduction across all location
- Responsible for the implementation and delivery of the quality improvement strategy in line with agreed goals and objectives
- Electrical/Mechanical Trade qualification
- Proven inspector of final product and/or service and previous experience in quality function in renewable/utility EPCM projects is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
