About the role
As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be working on a prestigious rail project, encompassing earthworks, platforms, bridges, drainage etc across multiple sites. This role offers career prospects and the opportunity to work within a tier 1 industry leader.
Duties
- Assist with the implementation of the Quality plan and related deliverables
- Provide technical advice and support on quality related matters.
- Coordinate closure and ensure completeness of construction packages
- Understand and interpret quality requirements and deliverables.
- Assist the engineering team in the preparation of inspection & test plans (ITP's)
Skills & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical)
- Previous experience within a similar role and project delivery environment
- Technical knowledge and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and quality records
- Proficient in the use of Project Document Management systems
- Internal auditor qualifications
