About the role
BMD are looking for a Quality Manager with experience on multi-million-dollar civil infrastructure works. You will liaise with the engineering and supervision teams on site, to ensuring that best practice quality systems are put in place.
The project/role is based in Rockhampton and welcomes a site uplift and accommodation provided working a 5:2 Monday - Friday FIFO roster.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing Quality team's operational priorities for achieving the project KRA's and KPI's
- Achieving results and meeting expectations within budget allocation and meeting KPI's
- Accepting accountability for all outputs of Quality team
- Implement controls and ensure that all work is in accordance with the Project Management Plan
- Manage compliance and provide recommendations for improvements to Quality systems and processes
- Manage effective cross functional working relationships by clarifying Task Initiating Role Relationship Authorities
- Manage and administer CivilPro quality tool for effectiveness of quality outcomes for Lot Management, NCR Management, Test Requests and Survey requests management.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the project team and other stakeholders to efficiently and timely manage electronic approvals and data processing
- Tertiary qualification in engineering preferred
- Lead Auditor qualification also highly regarded
- Experience managing QA management systems on major civil infrastructure projects - Ideally CivilPro
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
