The Opportunity
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure that products and services meet the highest standards of excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong quality management background to make a significant impact on our client’s organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to identify deviations from quality standards and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes, procedures, and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and lessons learned.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality requirements, standards, and procedures. Mentor and coach team members to promote a culture of quality excellence.
Your Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
- Proven experience in a quality management role within the civil engineering or construction industry;
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations relevant to civil engineering projects;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels;
- Certification in Quality Management is desirable.
