About the Role
The Quality on the Floor Technician is responsible for the quality oversight of aseptic manufacturing and media fills by working closely alongside the manufacturing and operations teams and provide quality guidance and be the point of contact for product quality and process escalations.
Duration: 12 month contract
Capacity: On-site
Working Days: Mon - Fri
Hours: Weekly rotation day and afternoon shift.
Day: 6:39 to 14:30
Afternoon: 14:09 to 22:00
Team size: 10 people
Pay Rate: $40.13 - $45.13 + superannuation + applicable shift loadings
Responsibilities
- Complete in-process checks, sampling and inspection using AQL methodologies for
- Visual Inspection.
- Complete quality oversight of media fill inspections.
- Complete In-process Checks for packing operations.
- Conduct real time GEMBA of visual inspection and packing processes to ensure continuous improvement in the manufacturing facility.
- Review of process documentation for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide quality guidance and initial point of contact for Quality escalations.
- Responsible for product quality and compliance partnering with all teams within the
- site value streams regarding product quality aspects using structured processes.
- Maintain local area gowning qualification.
About you
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical science or equivalent qualification or experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Quality, Operations, Manufacturing or Technical Support role within the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry (ideally) or FMCG.
- Good understanding of GMP
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work well as part of a team
- Demonstrated time management skills and commitment to deadlines
- High attention to detail
