About the opportunity
Quality on the Floor Technician is responsible for real-time in process checking for Packing, sample inspection for Visual Inspection and batch review for Filling, VI and Pack.
Duties
- Review of process documentation for accuracy and clarity
- Complete in-process checks, sampling and inspection using AQL methodologies for Visual Inspection
- Responsible for product quality and compliance partnering with all teams within the site value streams regarding product quality aspects using structured processes
- Complete quality oversight of media fill inspections and In-process Checks for packing operations
- Conduct real-time GEMBA of visual inspection and packing processes to ensure continuous improvement in the manufacturing facility
- Provide quality guidance and initial point of contact for Quality escalations
- Conduct training for production as applicable
- Maintain local area gowning qualification
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutical Science
- Previous Pharmaceutical experience, if not that then food industry, experience in a manufacturing facility
- Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, QC or QA role
- Good attitude and willingness to stay in the role
- Own car and licence is required
