About the Business
With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol, and sustainable agricultural products.
To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.
Job Vacancy
A great opportunity has become available as a Quality Systems Coordinator at Wilmar BioEthanol in Yarraville. This role offers flexibility, with a four-day week, and will suit an individual who enjoys tackling challenges and working a dynamic and changing environment.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
Coordinate and administer the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Administer the DMS ensuring Quality related documents remain up to date
Develop quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions for quality
Maintain licences, permits and certificate registers
Manage SAP reporting and Salesforce notifications
Provide support for quality assurance requirements (e.g. questionnaires, product information)
Maintain training records for site
Systems management Review (Design and implement continuous improvements relating to systems)
Work closely with the BioEthanol group to ensure that the Systems requirements are met and rolled out accordingly
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, organisational and detail-oriented capabilities, as well as adept communication skills in both written and verbal forms. This person will need to have a proven understanding of Quality Systems.
Something about you
You will have a Tertiary Qualification in Science or other related discipline including a Quality Assurance/Compliance background. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and other organisational tools, as well as a working knowledge or understanding of hazardous area/industry would also be advantageous.
