Reporting to the Technical Manager, an exciting opportunity currently exists for a Quality Systems Coordinator. The Quality Systems Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Quality assurance team at our Girraween plant with quality assurance, Document Management System, and continuous improvement processes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure total compliance to all Company policies, processes and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a reduction in the Company’s LTIFR
- Ensuring the processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established implemented and maintained in accordance with an integrated document control system.
- Set up and manage effective document control.
- Participate in training programs offered by the Company. Responsible for site QA system training.
- Manage and maintain the populating of the Master Register and Pre-Requisite Programmes.
- Populate and maintain data management and set up trending documents.
- Represent the Technical Department together with the Technical Manager in the Innovation Meetings.
- Complete the required documentation and customer-based specification portals such as Woolworths’ PLMS and Coles’ Fusion to meet the requirements to launch new products and artworks.
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders across the site to develop and ensure compliance on production, food safety, quality and WHS processes and strive for continuous improvements.
- To ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies
To be successful in this position you must possess the following:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Food science or a related discipline.
- Sound understanding of quality management system.
- Minimum of 5 years quality experience working in food manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Have demonstrated experience or formal training in HACCP Principles & Applications.
- Experience in external audit.
- Strong systems and process background, and proven ability to lead change in these areas.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, engage, negotiate, coach effectively with all stakeholders.
