Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Construction Quantity Surveyor/Estimator with practical experience in the residential construction industry or at least exposure to how builders cost projects. We keep our reports builder-friendly, costs split out, and the terminology easy to read.
Responsibilities
- Quantity take offs
- Labour breakdowns
- Completing full project estimate reports
- BOQs
- Project cashflow reports
- Assisting with client quotes
- Producing accurate documentation within budgets and timelines
- Variations and tenders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of numeracy and computer skills (Excel)
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience within the commercial construction industry and project cost estimation.
- Building, carpentry, or hands on construction experience is required.
- Knowledge of local Australian labour, materials, and subtrade costs is a must.
- A qualification in quantity surveying, engineering, or associated discipline is required.
- Quantity take offs from design drawings.
