Foundation Recruitment has been engaged to work with a National Consultancy Firm who are seeking their next Quantity Surveyor to join there Darwin team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate cost advice to clients including preparation of estimates / cost plans during design (Schematic, Design Development and Contract Documentation Stages) or tender stage
- Completion of complex trade and elemental take-off
- Preparation and pricing of Bill of Quantities
- Quantification and pricing for variations
- Undertake site visits and complete valuations of work complete on site
- Tender review, evaluation and recommendations for award
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years' work experience
- Experience working in a pre-contracts consultancy environment.
- Experience in using software systems such as MS Office, Buildsoft, Cost X, Planswift or Blue Beam
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
