People2People is partnering with an Australian not-for-profit member association that is seeking an experienced Area Account Manager to join their well-established team in Queensland. This organization is dedicated to helping its clients maximize their purchasing power, providing them with access to a wide range of high-quality products and suppliers. The goal is to ensure clients benefit from cost savings while also accessing the right products to meet their needs.
About the role
As the Area Account Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for maintaining and nurturing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and offering valuable support to clients within your designated region. As part of a cohesive national team, your role involves driving member retention and growth while providing expert guidance on products, cost-saving strategies, and overall value to clients.
Selection criteria
- Proven B2B sales / account management experience
- Knowledge and experience in FMCG, canteen management or procurement
- Effective communication an interpersonal skill with proven relationship management experience
- Customer centric and solutions focused approach
- Results driven with a current QLD Drivers licence
