Job Description: Quoting and Pricing Operations Analyst - Mobile Telecommunications Project
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quoting and Pricing Operations Analyst to join our Mobile Telecommunications Project team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pricing strategies, commercial processes, and data analysis within the project. A background in RAN (Radio Access Network) engineering would be beneficial as it will enhance your understanding of the technical aspects related to pricing and quoting in the Mobile Telecommunications industry. Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate and efficient pricing administration, quote tracking, and analysis of pricing trends and performance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing pricing and quoting practices to drive profitability and success in the Mobile Telecommunications Project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency of pricing information.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demands to support the development of pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant pricing and cost data for accurate quote creation.
- Conduct regular data entry tasks, ensuring timely and accurate input of pricing and project-related information into relevant systems and databases.
- Monitor and track all quotes, analyzing win-loss ratios, and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports and analysis on pricing, sales performance, and profitability, providing insights to the project team.
- Support the review and approval process for pricing adjustments, discounts, and special deals.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines within the project.
- Assist in commercial operations tasks, such as contract management, vendor coordination, and customer support.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing and profitability calculations.
- Utilize your background in RAN engineering to understand the technical aspects of pricing and quoting in the Mobile Telecommunications industry.
- Support ad-hoc projects and assignments related to pricing, commercial operations, and data analysis, as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in pricing administration, commercial operations, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and database management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical and financial information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and market dynamics.
- Background in RAN engineering, with a solid understanding of the technical aspects related to Mobile Telecommunications Projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
