The Role:
As a key member of the Racing Operations team, the Racing Coordinator - Greyhound is responsible supporting the Code Lead - Greyhound in the operational execution of greyhound racing and training activities across the state. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and operational support to the greyhound code by coordinating and delivering on all code administration and reporting, liaising with industry on relevant matters, coordinating casual staff for race day operations and liaising with industry.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional, respectful, and proud attitude towards the racing industry
- Proven interest in, and understanding of the greyhound code of racing
- High level administration skills including report writing and minute taking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Highly developed organisational skills with an ability to juggle competing priorities
- Ability to manage time effectively and filter industry and participant contact to achieve the broader objectives of the role when required
- Demonstrated communication skills including oral and written skills, and contemporary standard of computer literacy
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to work a range of hours to meet the needs of the racing calendar, and travel across the state for racing events and manage workload outside of a traditional Monday to Friday work week
