Access theThe Medical Imaging Service provides a comprehensive Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology service. This position will deliver competent base-level Medical Imaging Services, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary team through clinical service delivery and other activities as detailed below. This position will work across a variety of areas and rosters within the Medical Imaging Service - which is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.Key responsibilities include:
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the Medical Imaging Service and the multi-disciplinary team, as well as engaging in professional development activities to ensure maintenance of relevant registration and /or professional membership.
- Ensure that all standards of radiation hygiene are adhered to at all times, and that relevant legislation and standards relating to Radiation Health are maintained.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data).
