About the facility
Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services. CT services include latest 3rd generation dual energy CT scanner, spectral CT scanner and other high end current generation multislice CT scanners.
About the role
The Grade 2 Radiographer supports the Grade 3 and Grade 4 Radiographer in the management of the CT and Medical Imaging service 24/7.
Duties of the Radiographer include but are not limited to:
- Independently operate all diagnostic imaging equipment including information systems (RIS/PACS/DR, BOSS)
- Participate in 24/7 ‘ABC roster’ which includes being available for reasonable overtime and out of hours recall and shift duty including night shift.
- Operate all CT systems across Barwon Health including advanced scanning techniques and workups
