Job description

Temporary opportunity to deliver a routine imaging service within the Department of Medical Imaging Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (STARS), within Metro North Health. Over time, through the participation in the departmental graduate program and clinical mentoring, this position will work toward a full scope of x-ray examinations. This role is a 12-month temporary full-time graduate entry position.

About the role

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Maintain quality and safety standards through clinical practice and appropriate communication.
  • Perform all approved examinations with compassion, respect and integrity.
  • Deliver a routine general medical imaging service under regular supervision from HP4 Senior/HP5 Advanced Radiographers and/or Radiologists.
  • Engage in education, training and professional development to progress to full scope and more complex examinations with supervision.
