Jordan Rail is seeking a Rail and Civil Engineer (Site, Project or Senior Project) to support our ongoing operations. If successful you will be working on a wide variety of large rail projects throughout Australia and with Tier 1 companies.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control functions for all activities at site
- Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel
- Provide general technical assistance to supervisory staff
- Tendering or pricing jobs on a large range of rail projects across Australia
- Develop procedures and methodologies based on clients and site requirements.
- Plan and manage projects
- Maintain the project quality and document control and filing systems
- Maintain systems for and perform field progress evaluation and compare actual with planned progress
- Implement the inspection and test requirements
- Any other duties as may be required by the Company
Qualifications
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- Experience in
- Rail/Track construction
- Rail/Track maintenance
- Piling works on and off-track
- CSR works
- OHLE works
- Civil works
- Competent in planning and organising work schedules
- Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same
- Clear communication – verbal and written
