Rail Signal Electrician

Company Description

MGC Solutions is a key provider of Infrastructure Services, delivering works in the Railway Signalling and Railway Communications sectors across Western Australia including the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt and Goldfields. We are currently looking for full-time Rail Signal Technicians and Electricians to join our team.  

Role Description

This is a full-time permanent role located in Greater Perth Area with occasional DIDO assignments for Rail Signal Technicians and Electricians. The role involves taking part in factory pre-wire activities, planning, participating in site maintenance and rectification, upgrading key signalling infrastructure across numerous networks and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Electrical – Rail Signalling (preferred). 
• Electrical licence. 
• Previous Railway Signalling experience. 
• Experience installing and maintaining signalling equipment. 
• Resource sector and Pilbara experience (desirable). 
• Construction white card. 
• C-class driver’s licence. 
• Safe and positive attitude. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Australian working rights (mandatory). 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work as an effective team member.
