AddressDowner Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) has been selected to deliver Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland history. Design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of a manufacturing facility on Fraser Coast of Queensland, design and build of a train depot, and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced RAM Manager to join our team. This is a leadership role reporting to the Technical Director on the QTMP project. This role will lead a team of RAM Engineers and to support the wider project team in ensuring that effective RAM principles and processes are utilised to deliver against business and project objectives.
You will be responsible for all RAM aspects of the project life cycle following system engineering practices (ISO15288 & EN50126), reporting to the Technical Director and a part of Downer RTS wider RAM discipline team, you will be responsible for managing the team of RAM engineers on the QTMP project.
Using the most efficient, safe and cost-effective delivery methods, you will be accountable for ensuring effective RAM systems are implemented and utilised, delivering business objectives, ensuring overall compliance to enable a successful design process and manufactured product for Downer's long term maintenance contract.
This is a fulltime, permanent role, and you will be based at our office in Brisbane, QLD.

About You:
- A degree qualification in engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience in leading RAM teams.
- Demonstrated railway rolling stock system and facilities RAM experience.
- Strong knowledge of the systems approach to technical project delivery including demonstrated knowledge of key rail standards ISO15288 and RAMS EN50126
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extensive knowledge of rollingstock design, verification and operations
