Purpose of the Role
Use your delivery expertise to lead a transformational project for Auto & General. Manage technical delivery using A&G’s framework, handling dependencies, risks, and barriers to ensure teams deliver value. Lead by example through change and build strong internal and external relationships for successful outcomes.
Position Accountabilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership to build relationships, make quick decisions, and solve problems
- Manage stakeholders at all levels
- Translate business priorities for delivery teams
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Develop and communicate project reports
- Liaise with teams to manage project conflicts, challenges, and requirements
- Manage team capacity and demand
- Keep teams focused on priorities and aligned with strategy and roadmaps
- Build trusted relationships with business, customer groups, and delivery teams
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction
- Collaborate with leaders to resolve personnel challenges
- Present high-level project updates to senior management
- Coordinate production releases as needed
- Handle special projects or duties as assigned
- Celebrate success and promote high performance
- Coach and mentor team members by setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering learning opportunities
Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience:
- 5+ years in project management
- Strong understanding of key project management concepts
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Team player, effective across departments
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
Desirable:
- Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Postgraduate degree in Information Technology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in financial or regulated industries
- Understanding of traditional and Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, lean, DevOps)
