Parks Victoria is currently seeking a Ranger Team Leader who will be responsible for leading a team on French Island. The main responsibilities of this role include delivering high-quality park services, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of natural resource management projects. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing the team, which includes employees, contractors, and volunteers. You will be required to develop and deliver team plans and work programs related to operational services. You will be required to also travel to French Island, located in Western Port Bay, Victoria, is required as part of this role on a daily.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in leadership, performance management and managing a team day to day.
- Demonstrated flexibility in workload management.
- Ability to implement, manage, and reporting on environmental projects.
- Track record in dealing with external stakeholders on a range of land management issues.
- Tertiary qualification in Science or equivalent is highly desirable.
