Rates, Water & Sundry Debtors Officer
Permanent, full-time – 70 hours per nine-day fortnight
- Join our friendly, knowledgeable and experienced Finance team in Boorowa to undertake rates & debtor processing and ensure Council meets its statutory obligations.
- Salary range: $2,532.04 – $2,805.27 per fortnight + 11% Superannuation (increases coming July 2024).

Reporting to the Management Accountant as our Rates, Water & Sundry Debtors Officer you will undertake all manner of duties relating to the processing of financial accounts of Council, including land rates (S. 603 certificates), water rates, and maintaining accurate records and journals to meet statutory & audit requirements.
Formal qualifications in accounting/bookkeeping/finance are an advantage, but not essential if one has relevant experience, as Council is committed to providing training in rating skills to ensure success in the role and building the candidate’s skillset for future progression.
