Job Description & Summary
Our Legal Business Solutions team brings deep technical excellence to complex legal problems. We also bring the wider business perspective that our unique multi-disciplinary environment affords. We deliver holistic legal advice to resolve your most immediate challenges and achieve strategic outcomes, blending technical skills and strategy to advise top ASX organisations, not-for-profit companies and private clients with spectacular results. And our team is expanding.
We're looking for a Director to advise clients on commercial and agricultural property law within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in your 10+ years working in Commercial Real Estate Law. With meaningful problems to solve, you'll have plenty of opportunity to create change in areas you're passionate about. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you support corporate partners in M&A transactions, our Finance practice and other areas of the firm such as Private Clients on property related matters, in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
This role can be performed out of Melbourne or Sydney. Flexible options are available (part-time or full-time, hybrid, etc) so please ask.
You'll make an impact working on problems across multiple industries and clients. In our Legal Business Solutions team, you'll also use your expertise in property law to:
Advise clients on commercial and agricultural acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, commercial leasing and dealings in water rights.
Assist PwC Legal's Corporate team to undertake M&A transactions, joint ventures, transaction structuring and provide other general advice.
Collaborate with PwC Legal's Finance team to advise on loan and security matters involving real property (eg commercial leases, transfer of real property).
Collaborate with tax and commercial advisory colleagues to deliver strategic legal advice and solve multi-disciplinary problems.
Effectively supervise and mentor junior team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients as well as other staff members both within the PwC legal practice and more broadly across the other PwC lines of service.
Solve problems that matter to you.
You want a career that empowers you to make things fairer, faster and more impactful.
We'll give you a career-boosting role that:
Provides meaningful work and leadership opportunities
Helps you prioritise your life outside of work, with lifestyle and wellness stipends up to $500 a year
Has competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses and promotions
Supports you to grow your leadership skills with our internal Academy, study support, and partnerships with Udemy and Coursera
Prioritises new families with 26 weeks of parental leave
We're an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier - for our clients, our teams and our communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.
