The Real Estate Team
The Band 1 rated Real Estate Team is a multidisciplinary practice, who are often involved in some of the largest and most complex projects in Australia.
The team offers a broad range of legal services to domestic and international clients including foreign institutional investors, property fund managers, government authorities, Real Estate investment trusts, developers and other stakeholders.
They have extensive experience handling a variety of property matters including acquisitions and disposals, property developments, leasing services (retail, commercial and industrial), financing services, and managing listed and unlisted trusts.
The Role
There is now an exciting position on offer for a Lawyer to join the team in their Sydney office. This role will see you supporting 4 pre-eminent Partners in a wide array of transactions including large-scale infrastructure projects, portfolio transactions, developments, acquisitions, disposals and complex leasing matters.
You will play a key role in advising both private and public sector clients on major projects including urban renewal, sustainability, and retail, commercial and residential developments. This work will hence see you working closely with many other practice areas including Corporate, Major Projects & Construction, Environment & Sustainable Development.
You will be mentored by senior Partners who will invest time into developing your career, and encouraged to foster strong client relationships.
Requirements
To be successful, you will be an experienced Real estate Lawyer with 2-4 years' PQE, preferably gained at a top tier practice.
In addition, you will have:
- Strong academics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) for building and maintaining effective relationships internally and with clients
- A strong work ethic and client focused approach
- The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to supervise junior lawyers
