The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Real Estate Specialist. This opportunity plays a significant role in managing our Real Estate operations and fostering strategic growth for the company.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Identify potential locations for new Oakberry stores by conducting thorough market research and location analysis;
- Evaluate site suitability based on factors such as demographics, foot traffic, competition, and overall market trends;
- Negotiate lease agreements for new store locations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for Oakberry;
- Maintain relationships with Real Estate brokers, landlords, and other key stakeholders to stay informed about market opportunities and trends;
- Collaborate with the franchising team to support franchisees in securing ideal locations for their stores;
- Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure chosen locations meet Oakberry’s operational and brand standards;
- Prepare and present detailed reports on potential locations, including financial analysis and risk assessments;
- Stay up-to-date with local zoning laws, regulations, and market conditions that could impact Oakberry’s Real Estate decisions
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchisees throughout their journey with Oakberry;
- Manage the end-to-end franchising process, from lead generation to onboarding, including conducting meetings and interviews with potential franchisees.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience in Real Estate management, preferably within the retail or food industry;
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favourable lease agreements;
- Excellent analytical skills to conduct thorough market and location analyses;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, franchisees and other stakeholders;
- Proactive and results-driven;
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment;
- Knowledge of the Australian retail and Real Estate market is a plus;
- Availability to travel for site visits and assessments.
