Your Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in this newly created role to complete a variety of tasks, all of which are pivotal to the ongoing development and smooth operations in our Commercial Waste sector.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager – Commercial Division is the first point of contact for this dynamic hands-on role, overseeing daily operations and driving sales growth through your business development expertise.
The Role
- Manage day-to-day operations for Commercial Services
- Ensure all OHS and regulatory requirements are met, including fatigue management
- Oversee financial aspects, including P & L and budgets
- Develop growth strategies and foster supplier relationships
- Supervise staff performance and conduct reviews
- Ensure solid performance across major KPI’s
- Oversee coordination of schedules for daily operations and driver runs
- Collaborate with GM and finance for CAPEX planning and new equipment integration
- Maintain accurate records and manage equipment maintenance
About you
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills for timely resolutions.
- Keen eye for identifying productivity and efficiency improvements.
- Familiarity with Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility.
- Highly developed skills in developing budgets and reading, interpreting and reporting financial results such as profit and lost
Previous experience in the waste or transport/logistics industry highly regarded.
