About the Role
We seek a passionate Operations Manager to join the team and contribute to the company's ongoing growth and success through the development of our flagship cloud solution, Xugo.
As our Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the Xugo software product development while managing project implementations with customers to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope. This hybrid role combines the strategic vision of a product manager with the hands-on project management skills needed to drive successful product development. Reporting to the general manager, you will act as a bridge between the product owner, customer, business stakeholders, and the development team, ensuring that Xugo meets market needs, aligns with business goals, and drives customer satisfaction.
Xugo is a cloud-based web/mobile solution that leverages Microsoft Azure (www.xugo.com.au), architected and developed from the ground up over the past 7 years using the latest web, mobile app, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee and manage the Xugo product lifecycle day-to-day and collaborate with the team to refine processes to enhance quality and efficiency across project delivery, application development, testing and support, and ICT and hosting areas.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with our product owner to craft Xugo’s product vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with broader business objectives and delivers customer value. Support the maintenance of the product roadmap.
- Product Development Oversight: Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Provide guidance on development, testing, and deployment processes. Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks as they arise.
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead project planning efforts, resource allocation, monitoring employee productivity, scheduling and risk management. Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints for customer implementations of Xugo.
- Release Management: Plan and oversee product releases, including feature launches and updates. Coordinate release schedules, communicate release plans, and manage customer expectations.
- Customer Engagement: Gather feedback, validate product ideas, and address customer concerns.
