Job description:
The Role
We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Receival Point Operators (RPO) on a permanent, full-time basis.
This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers.
If you're looking to take the next step in your career, for the right candidate there will be the opportunity to act as the Receival Point Operator In Charge of a larger receival site which can then lead to further career advancement opportunities within CBH Group.
This role requires movement between the Receival sites in Area 17 which includes Jerramungup, Jacup, Gairdner, Wellstead, Kojaneerup, Borden, Ongerup & Chillinup.
You may be located in any of these towns or willing to relocate to apply for this vacancy.
Responsibilities include:
Operate plant and equipment to move and store bulk grain.
Safely receiving, storing, and out-loading grain.
Sampling and assessing the grain including identifying contaminated grain.
Maintaining the condition of grain within the storage system through hygiene activities.
Operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and hygienic manner.
The roster is current Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (voluntary).
There is the potential for flexible lifestyle roster options which will be discussed with applicants during the interview process.
There is free donga style accommodation available if required but preferably applicants will live in one of the above-mentioned towns.
About You:
Hold an unrestricted and valid driver's licence (HR/MR class advantageous).
Have own reliable vehicle.
Exhibit a strong dedication to working safely.
Be deemed physically fit in accordance with the CBH operational worker pre-employment medical.
Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with a high grain dust concentration.
Possess basic computer skills.
Be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers.
Live or be willing to relocate to a location in close proximity to one of the above sites.
