THE POSITION:
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced, customer service focused administration professional to join our team in the position of Reception & Sales Support Administrator. As an important first point of contact for our valued customers, the ideal candidate will be a personable customer-focused professional with a positive attitude, friendly disposition and commitment to detail, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This is a part time, flexible position (25 hours per week) contract position (maternity leave coverage).
Anticipated to be an 8 month contract role initially (commencing around mid May), there may be an opportunity to extend or secure a permanent role dependent on future business needs.
For the ideal candidate, this position provides an opportunity to negotiate your preferred hours and days. This may include part days worked Monday to Friday or full days worked on certain days and may be particularly appealing to suitably experienced candidates with a desire to work school hours.
KEY DUTIES:
This role is all about personality and being able to engage with our customers and fellow team members, facilitated by can-do/will-do attitude.
- Perform the role of dealership receptionist, incorporating a range of concierge, Sales Support, delivery coordination and customer service (face-to-face, telephone and email) functions in a professional, efficient and concise manner
- Perform a range of administration functions including daily banking, petty cash reconciliations, purchase orders, stationary orders, filing and mail
- Perform a range of sales administration functions including new vehicle stock control, vehicle registrations and deal pack processing
- Positively promote the quality automotive brands we represent and aftermarket car care products and services, delivering a consistently high level of customer service during every customer interaction
- Accurately process weekly/monthly sales commissions
- Complete manufacturer submissions
- Maintain the showroom's appearance to be neat and tidy at all times
- Participate in ongoing brand and customer service training and development with a positive attitude and continuous improvement focus
ABOUT YOU:
- Consistently punctual, reliable, able to follow instructions and enjoy working as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently (both written & verbally)
- Exceptional customer service, reception, administration, time management and liaison skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organisational focus
- Strong IT skills, particularly experience with the MS Office suite
- Process driven, including a strong commitment to and the ability to follow Dealership and manufacturer policy and standards
- Strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes and exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity - before, during and after sales service
- The ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a high performing team in a a busy sales to service environment
- Current Drivers Licence
