We’re looking for a Receptionist and Office Assistant to join our team of foodies. Fino Foods is one of Australia's leading specialty food importers and distributors, sourcing the finest artisan produce, locally and abroad for restaurants and delicatessens.
About The Role
You will be the friendly and helpful first point of contact when calling or visiting our office. You will assist with order entry, responding to email inquiries, and Office administration. You will receive lots of training in specialty foods and will taste and learn about some of the world's great cheese, charcuterie, olives, and other artisan-made foods from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and directing calls as necessary.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks as needed.
- Accurately enter client orders from phone calls and emails.
- Ensure the office areas are always tidy and presentable.
- Work on the night admin shift when other staff are on leave. This can be done remotely (work from home).
Skills & Experience
- Previous Office Administration experience is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail - an essential quality for this role
- Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Friendly and professional phone manner
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn about and experience amazing artisan food.
