As the first point of contact for families, your role will be crucial in providing compassionate assistance and support. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of duties, all centered around ensuring that families receive the care and attention they need during
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling reception duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing inquiries.
- Assisting with the coordination of services and products offered to customers.
- Following up on documentation and details with stakeholders and families.
- Addressing general inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Managing and escalating customer complaints with empathy and resilience.
- Liaising with and supporting families of the bereaved regarding memorial arrangements, product offerings, locating loved ones and service options.
- Providing exceptional customer service while demonstrating strong organisational skills.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in reception and administration support roles.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Previous experience in the cemetery sector would be advantageous.
- Relevant and transferrable skills and abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in in-house systems, CRM software and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
- Preferably, experience in a customer-centric, service-focused environment.
- Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations professionally and effectively.
- Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A team player with a cooperative, flexible and proactive approach.
