About the RoleThe role of the Primary School Receptionist is to support a learning environment for students. This role also involves welcoming School community members and guests; the support and hospitality of the Primary School Reception; delivering a friendly, efficient, confidential and professional service always, both in person and on the telephone.About YouYou are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the education sector
• Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Well-developed communication skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of matters involved in the role
• Experience working in a small and busy team environment with the ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to work independently, intuitively and flexibly
• Proven experience establishing good working relationships with students, parents, staff and the school community
• Administration and organisational skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience utilising a database system, such as Synergetic, is highly regarded

All team members at CGS are required to have:

• Appropriate qualifications
• A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
• A current National Police Check; and
• Full working rights within Australia.
