Form of workAbout Us - We are a large Registered Club nestled right on the waterfront at Ettalong Beach, overlooking Broken Bay and Lion Island, with views South to Palm Beach. On the same grounds, is Mantra at Ettalong Beach offering gorgeous accommodation, and where the Club offers room service.
We have five bars, three dining outlets, function rooms, lots of entertainment options, a tourist and visitor information centre, courtesy shuttle, an outdoor terrace, and a variety of delicious food on offer. Our Esplanade Conference and Events Centre is a busy hub, hosting an array of events, weddings, and conferences.
We are excitedly recruiting an experienced Fulltime Receptionist, with a passion for Customer Service that understands how critical this position is to our business, being the face of our Club.
Who are You? - You are passionate about Customer Service and working as part of a team. You are an excellent communicator and multi-tasker who is welcoming and friendly, and you display a calm disposition when working under pressure, so that our members and guests enjoy all Club facilities.
Your day to day (some of what you will be doing)
• Greeting our members and guests with a positive and friendly attitude
• Promoting Ettalong Diggers Membership
• Promoting Ettalong Diggers Club facilities; promotions, services, and events
• Checking identification, ensuring all members and guests sign-in per licencing regulations.
• Answering telephone enquiries
• Processing memberships
• Assisting contractors
• Monitoring for RSA upon entry
• Performing any other duties as required by the Duty Management team.
What do we need from you?
• Experience in a similar role/industry is highly desirable.
• You will need to be available from Wednesday through until Sunday inclusive (plus p/hols as they fall on your roster). The roster rotates - 2 weeks of days/2 weeks of nights.
• RSA - NSW Competency Card is required prior to commencement.
• RCG - NSW Competency Card is required prior to commencement.
• A strong work ethic! You are dependable and trustworthy, with a cheerful outlook and committed to your role.
• Enthusiasm; a happy, vibrant, and outgoing personality.
• You can work well within a team environment, and you are a team-player.
• Excellent personal presentation standards and grooming, along with an elevated level of self-motivation.
• You can show that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 - we maintain this as part of our Board approved Club Policy.
