Mind and Brain is a privately operated specialist practice specialising in mental health. We are looking for a receptionist to support our clinical staff starting in February 2024.
This is a casual part time position up to 3 days a week, 0830 - 1500 and can be shared between 2 receptionists on a rostered basis.
Job Description:
- Tidy up and maintaining and reception, office rooms and kitchen daily
- Answering emails and assisting with patient enquiries
- Meet and greet patients before appointments
- Data Entry of patient details with exceptional accuracy
- Booking patient appointments with exceptional accuracy
- Billing patients
- Maintain 100% confidentiality at all times
- Scanning, sorting and saving documents
- Undertaking general office duties as required
- Undertaking tasks as per requests
Requirements/Skills:
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Police Clearance
- Excellent attention to detail and 100% accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and as a team member
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong computer skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Experience working with Patient Management Software such as Best Practice is desirable but comprehensive training will be provided
- Motivation to learn new tasks and ability to adjust to changes
- Experience working with Tyro/EFTPOS machines is desirable but not essential
- Experience as a receptionist/secretary in health industry is desirable but not essential
