About the role
The Recreation Services Supervisor will lead a dedicated team that provides an excellent customer experience as well as administer sports facility bookings and associated financial processes.
Reporting to the Leisure and Aquatic Services Team Leader, this role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sports Hall, Merchandise, Crèche, Holiday Program, and offsite work areas.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in leading and building teams that deliver exceptional customer service.
- Extensive knowledge in looking after the management of bookings and programming of sporting activities across multiple work areas.
- Ability to set, manage, and monitor annual team budgets.
- Be able to create a customer-first culture within a mainly casual workforce.
- Previous finance reporting experience, and commercial acumen.
- Experience using a customer Interphase, member database, and point of Sale system.
- Demonstrated capability in managing and prioritising the demands of stakeholders and maintaining regular stakeholder communication.
- Experience in implementing and managing a staff roster.
- Familiarity with retail operations and stock management.
- Current Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current driver's license.
