About the Role:
We are seeking a Recreational Activities Officer to join our team!
You will be based at Abbey House, located at 300 Range Road, Mittagong NSW 2575.
Your employment hours will be Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Thompson Health Care Abbey House is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Recreational Activities Officer (RAO). We're looking for enthusiastic candidates who has a positive attitude and have a passion for working with aged people. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading aged care provider that offers a rewarding career and supportive environment.
To be successful, we're looking for someone:
- Experience in dementia specific care (desirable)
- Preferred previous experience as a Recreational Activities Officer or a Lifestyle Officer
- Energetic and strives for excellence in customer service
- Have a Certificate in Lifestyle and Leisure, or Health and Recreation
- Have effective communication and computer documentation skills
- Have passion and genuine care for elderly
