Altaira is seeking a Recruitment and Clinical Development Manager with experience as an aged care Registered Nurse to join our team for a fulltime position (Monday to Friday) in Adelaide.
In this role, you will take responsibility for recruiting and training Altaira's clinical and care workforce, support and mentoring new and graduate nurses, following up clinical incidents and ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients across aged care.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will currently be registered with AHPRA as an Registered Nurse and possess a deep commitment to mentoring and training graduate staff in the field of aged care. Previous experience in training and education within an aged care environment would be highly valued. Experience in team management would also be advantageous. You should be familiar with the Aged Care Standards and up-to-date with the latest aged care legislation. In addition, any experience in Human Resources or recruitment will be advantageous, as well as familiarity with quality systems. Proficiency in learning new software and basic Microsoft Office skills are also required for this role.
About the Role:
You will manage the recruitment team and work closely with the Compliance Manager. The role will play a pivotal role overseeing the Recruitment and onboarding of nurses, care workers, and hospitality staff. You will monitor training sessions to ensure that all staff are well-prepared and equipped to deliver exceptional care to our clients. In addition, you will provide training and support to new graduates during their visits to our clients' sites, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. The role will also include the management and follow up of clinical incidents.
Please note that this role entails occasional local travel and out-of-office work. There may also be opportunities for interstate travel to support our recruitment efforts.
