We are currently looking for a passionate Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join the team of one of our leading clients in the Mining and Construction Industry based in Stapylton QLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and open positions.
- Create compelling job advertisements, review resumes, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Manage the onboarding process for successful candidates, including sending out offer letters and contracts, arranging medical examinations, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is collected.
- Coordinate with multiple project teams to tailor onboarding processes according to site requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
- Provide support to new hires on their first day and conduct follow-ups after their first week.
- Manage social media platforms to post job vacancies and attract potential candidates.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment or onboarding roles (essential).
- Familiarity with the construction and/or mining industries (preferred).
- Understanding of payroll processes and employment contracts.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inaccuracies.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
