ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a member of the Recruitment Team, the Recruitment Consultant will assist to develop, retain and grow the existing Skillset Limited client base and candidate base through the provision of a professional, quality focused end to end recruitment service including placement of Labour Hire, Apprentice, Trainee, Permanent and Temporary staff.
The purpose of this role is to provide recruitment solutions as a member of our growing Labour Hire business. Focused on resourcing and filling casual, temporary and permanent roles for a client base extending across a broad range of industries, the Recruitment Consultant will implement effective candidate recruitment and management techniques designed to expand our candidate pool and professional client management practices focused on providing a supply of quality candidate to our clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including taking client job briefs, advertising roles, selecting and interviewing candidates and managing candidate expectations
- Supporting individuals into meaningful employment
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Undertake workforce planning with clients
- An eye for detail, managing associated compliance paperwork and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Exceptional communication skills and well presented
- Not afraid to pick up the phone
- Excellent business acumen and a genuine interest in supporting people
- Ability to take a consultative approach with clients and candidates
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced business-to-business environment
- Experience and proven track record in sales and service delivery
- Proven success record of developing and maintaining long-term working relationships
- Exceptional skills in organisation, planning and communication
- Effective general office and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project, etc.)
- Class C Drivers licence
