About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to seamlessly deliver an exceptional talent acquisition experience across the Faculty of Medicine and Health client group. This opportunity is ideal for a highly service focused recruiter who will embrace and relish the challenges of recruiting outstanding medical practitioners, researchers and teachers, who are delivering world leading solutions to some of our biggest health challenges. Your clients will include the Schools of Pharmacy, Dentistry and Medical Sciences, including research themes such as biomedical informatics, chronic disease, cancer, molecular biomedicine, neuroscience and others. Your distinct motivation towards personalised, high-quality candidate and client care is essential in achieving service excellence.
As a trusted and strategy-focused Recruitment Consultant, you will invest significant effort towards holistically understanding your client group to proactively deliver fit-for-purpose recruitment advice.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- drive the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring quality outcomes for candidates and hiring managers
- key focus on uplift in service delivery with a key focus on improving the recruitment service offering to the assigned client group
- experience designing creative solutions to attract the right talent to fill specialised positions
- provide high levels of communications and candidate care throughout the recruitment processes to key senior stakeholders
- deliver expert and timely advice relating to recruitment policies and processes
- understanding of selection processes, labour market information and recruitment trends
- creatively attract top talent and building prequalified talent pools through innovative attraction strategies.
- strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience successfully supporting and partnering with senior stakeholders and/or working closely with academics
- strong recruitment experience in managing end-to-end recruitment ranging from junior to senior positions
- proven experience in large multidisciplinary and/or complex environments
- committed, motivated professional with proven communication, and influencing skills
- demonstrated experience managing multiple recruitment activities with proven success balancing competing timeframes and deadlines whilst working under pressure to deliver.
- possess high emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt your style to achieve successful outcomes
