Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and meet revenue targets within the Technology sector.
- Provide visionary leadership to the Executive Search team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the technology market, informing business strategies and service offerings.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead sales efforts, cultivating relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the technology industry.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new opportunities for Executive Search assignments.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.
Executive Search Execution:
- Oversee the execution of Executive Search assignments within the Technology sector, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial consultation to candidate placement, utilising best practices and industry insights.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in candidate sourcing, assessment, and selection.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain and expand a strong network of contacts within the Australian technology community, including senior executives, industry leaders, and influencers.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor on talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the Australian Technology Sector, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement.
- Proven track record as an executive leader managing roles at the C-level in sales, marketing, HR, operations, or technology, such as CEO, CFO, CMO, CHRO, or head of any of these functions, or in a similar role managing an Executive Search portfolio for a specialist recruitment agency.
- Deep understanding of the technology market landscape, including industry trends, competitive dynamics, and talent challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on empowering teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
